snack

Another thing I do, and it's a great feeling, is to put the thing I think I need to eat aside for dinner.

Yesterday my kids had some banana bread after school, and I was about to be attacked by my brain's "poor me I never get to have a nice slice of bread in the afternoon with my tea" feeling that has undermined me in the past, when I got the bright idea to wrap up a big piece of it to eat with my dinner later. It was a good moment.

I've done something like this, saving sweets for S days.

I often collect sweets from the office that people have in the breakroom or bring by my desk. "Want some?" Of course, so I take and then save for Saturday. I don't tell them I'm on No S (yet) because I haven't made it long enough to be a testimonial and I don't want any weird questions at the moment.
