Refocusing

Sometimes, you need a trick to help you refocus.
I've been doing lots of exercise, but not much shovelglove. Pushups, pullups, dips, rows... I've gotten pretty strong on them.
I wanted to put more cardio back in, so I picked up the hammer again. This time, I decided to be a purist and only do exercises that you could really do with a hammer. I hammer at the "ceiling", then hammer at a post directly in front of me, head high, then do the fireman chop, then chop the tree, then chop wood, then break ice (one handed), then do this double handed swing sort of like I was trying to drive something sideways.. almost like a vertical baseball swing, with my hands together, in the center of the handle... 25 to 60 of each with each hand dominant.
It has helped me refocus on this terrific form of exercise.
I'd forgotten how it makes you feel like superman when you are done.
