The Bowling Workout

I've been shugging again for about 3 weeks now and after the second noticed that my 15 lb bowling ball felt lighter when I threw it. I just found this article by Parker Bohn III and here's the best part of it:
"The Bone Zone Workout: We Do Windows
BOWLERS HAVE ASKED ME ABOUT the exercise program I use to keep in shape. I've been free of major injury for more than 20 years, and I'm in shape, so fans are curious.
The short answer is, there is no Bohn Zone Workout. I'm not big into gym workouts. It's a plan I've followed for years, so I figure if it's not broke, don't fix it. I get more out of working around the house, accomplishing all the little tasks that make up a day, than hitting the gym. I don't sit around: I mow the lawn, rake leaves, chop wood, landscape, even vacuum or mop inside--all the everyday house chores. I even do windows. Four to six hours of constant work and movement helps me maintain my fitness level--and get things done around the house.
It's funny. As a kid, I never knew why I bowled so well over the winter. At the time, I was working in a lumberyard and spending three or four hours splitting wood every day. Three or four hours of swinging an axe or sledgehammer every day will build up your endurance pretty quick."

He mentions that pro bowlers will walk up to 5 or 6 miles in a tournament. Here's a fun thing for one or two people..I call it heart attack bowling.Same concept as tiger wood's speed golf. As soon as your ball gets back on the rack pick it up go get set and throw and you definitely get the heart rate up and get a lil sweat going.Just remember to get two lanes and tell them to set it up for league style so you're switching between two lanes for the whole session. I'm at three games before having a five minute or so rest then I do another game just for fun.
