Urban ranger is an inspirational metaphor to get you walking. Warning: there is poetry involved. Discuss it here.

Urban Ranger-ing On the Golf Course

Post by Over43 » Sun Sep 11, 2011 12:20 am

My wife bought me a golf pass the first week of July. Except for two weeks during that time I have played 9 to 18 holes of golf 3-4 times a week. I play on two courses: one is 3.3 miles per 18 holes, and the second is not only farther, but also much more challenging due to the topography. I actually forget how good I feel after a long walk ( even if it is ruined by a game of golf), and when I am out playing I am not sitting at home eating.
