I am back after being away for a couple of months. I feel that I need some kind of structure again. I was doing great with NoSsing, but I started working again this month and every Thursday, like clockwork, I mess up and have to mark a big red day on my habitcal. Since I work Monday through Thursday, I think I can safely say that food is my way of releasing the week's tension, and congratulate myself for completing another workweek.
Anyway, I may check in here once in a while, in the hope that it will help.

Great to see you back on board. I also have been gone since the beginning of May. I am caregiver for my 93 yr. old dad who had a stroke. There really is no one else that can do what I can do. I am away from my family and really tied down. So...I have drifted off of my newly formed habits. I cannot continue having a bowl of ice cream at night as comfort or reward. And then that has led to eating between meals and worse. I just now have internet access so I am going to try to report in when I can. I have had 2 green days and then 2 red days. I need this board for accountability so I was really excited to see that you are back also.

TexArk, how nice to hear from you! I understand that you are in a very difficult situation, but you really "sound" like a different person. I hope things soon get back to normal (or almost normal) for you, and that you can become yourself again, maybe starting with your eating pattern? I hope you understand what I mean. If you read your posts from a few months ago, you will see the "you" I am talking about.
