My goals with doing this are to really develop self-control with food and lose some extra weight. I actually don't have a lot of weight to lose, 10-15 pounds, but I watched my mom have no self-control with food and yo-yo dieting my whole life and don't want to fall into her patterns (or her body size unfortunately). I also believe self-control is a biblical principle that I need to work on. I grew up a naturally thin eater, only eating when hungry and stopping when full, and not really spending much time thinking about food. But, when I went on birth control when I first got married I found that I put on 25 pounds within a few months, that scared me and ever since (13 years ago) I have thought much more about food than I like.
I decided to post on this daily check in for the accountability. If I know that I have to put it out there for the world to see I will more likely follow through. At least until this becomes a lifestyle. My anxiety about posting this is that my time is very tight and I need to keep my posts brief. LOL I had to schedule this post into my day.
A little about me, I am a homeschooling mama with four children. My oldest daughter is 8, my second is a son who is 6 and my last two are boy twins that will be 4 in April. I love my life and am always working on those areas that need refining. If I could gain self-control with food and my thoughts about food then I would experience a great freedom in that area.
Thanks if you have read this far.
My plan is to follow the vanilla NoS, but my S-days are going to be split up. I usually make a dessert on Thursdays so my S-days are going to be Thursdays and Saturdays or Sundays. Yesterday I had an S day so I will not today.
