Wow Dave, that is weird because I've been looking at the cereal box at strange times of the night for comfort food, and I too have been eating a few extra bites at the stove, which shouldn't happen...
(Last night I made jambalaya and I was fishing out the sausage bits before it got put away in the fridge, and then, embarrassingly enough, I ate some of it, cold, later in the night! Yuck LOL.....)
I think there's is a correlation between posting and our excesses and also our triumphs...
Well, you probably understand, first hand, the benefits of
Confession!
LOL..
It's very freeing...
So, yes, in the end, you can turn it around (and it's really never the end till we are food for the worms, and according to Hindus, not even then!)
and triumph, by getting back to it!!!!
A few good days can turn, even a few bad months around...
I took a big break from Yoga, during the period of time that the previous hideous manager was still at the club, simply because I couldn't handle the toxic vibes there, and when I came back, oh mama!!!, it was hard to start again...
Ironically, my NoS wasn't so hot during that time either, and I feel it was not a coincidence...
When we do good things for ourselves, it's one big happy cycle, versus a vicious cycle...
Good for you on stomping, and yelling at the cereal box and spitting out that toast!!!!!!!!
LOL...
Get Hardcore on yer own arse!!!
We have to be our own masters...
But yeah, sharing on the board is extremely empowering and the support is very helpful...
Oh, that reminds me of the Yoga story, now I'm back to it, but it totally felt like I was at square one when I got started again, as five or six weeks away from it made me all weighted down and really tired...
So my point is, with NoS, and exercise,,,,
We just can't disappear for weeks on end!
Enjoy your weekend Dave and keep it up!!!
Love,
Deb
