Starting No S While Injured

I gave myself a vile, nasty case of plantar fasciitis while trying to get in shape as part of a weight loss effort.

It's been no end of a lesson. I don't tell other people what to do, but if I could tell myself what to do three months ago, I would say: "Get your eating habits in shape first, then start slowly with the exercise. And get rid of those cheapass shoes and buy some good ones."

Well, here I am, injured and semi-immobile. I walk like a nudist dances: very carefully. And you know what? I'm a bit down, but not out. I'm gonna give this No S Diet a college try. And as for low-impact exercise, I learned about hooping. I'm waiting for my hoop, so I'm focusing on just the foot exercises. When I get my energy back, I'll return to upper body conditioning (with 8 and 5 lb dumbbells).

See you next month! Or maybe sooner!

I'm 5'5" (165 cm) and weigh 144 lbs (65.3 kg)
