Day 1 - 3.16.07
Success
I've been lurking for a little while and really like the concept of this way of eating. I try to eat very healthily (though I do
love ice cream!), I love to exercise, but my snacking is getting out of control. Working at home is definitely difficult with a refrigerator so close. I've been trying NoS for a little while, but without much success, so I hope by posting it will keep me a bit more focused.
Unfortunately, this day is more of a success due to being very sick. I hope I can continue without having to get food poisoning!

Day 2-3 - 3.17-18.07
S Day
Thanks Jammin' Jan!
I'm feeling much better today and ran my half marathon without any problems.
Saturday: ate little more than toast.
Sunday: I ate much better today, though my stomach was a little off this morning, but by the end of my race in the afternoon, I was fine to eat a bit of celebratory ice cream- yum!

Day 5
Failure
M1: oatmeal, banana, pb; 2c water, 2c tea
M2: veggie burger, bread, peas, salsa, apple; 1c water
M3: waffle, pb, banana; 2c water
M4: pizza & chicken wings- then pizza again; 5c water
The pizza did me in! I really need to break the habit of going for seconds when having pizza. At least, I didn't eat my whole half of it (like normal). I'm paying for it today; bloated and generally icky from eating junk.

Are you a painter?
Hang in there. The first week is hard! It's like running. By the time you're down to the last 2 miles, you're tired. You have to push yourself to make it to the finish line. But once you make it to the finish line, thinking about it... it wasn't sooo bad was it?
Try try again!

Day 7
Success
M1: oatmeal, yogurt, banana; 2c water, 2c tea
M2: salad, pork, apple, rice
M3: banana, pb; 2c water
M4: salad w/almonds; veggie burger, bread; 4c water
A very tough day but I made it.
Thanks for the support shamrockmommy! Oh and yes I'm a painter- I illustrate children's books and whatever else comes my way. Unfortunately these days, I tend to take out my frustrations on a project with food. A habit I'm trying to break.

Day 8 Failure
M1: oatmeal, yogurt, banana; 3c water, 2c tea
M2: veggie burger, bread, pepper, almonds; 2c tea
M3: pb, jelly sandwich
M4: pb, wrap; 1c water
M5: sandwich; 1c water
I need to go food shopping! I usually plan/cook my meal out, but this week has been really off. Plus, I really have to remember to drink some more water. I had 2 Success days this week, that's at least better than last week. Maybe next week will be 3 days.

Day 9-10 S Day
Saturday: I actually took the day off and went out to a restaurant. I had plenty of sushi- my favorite!
Sunday: not the best choices in food. I craved pancakes and coffee this morning, which is very unusual and my mother-in-law made lots of calzones that I couldn't refuse.

It's been a tough week from being very sick. I'm calling some days successes even though I ate some popsicles in between meals. I know, I'm not a strict NoSer. But I didn't eat them out of boredom, I ate them to soothe a very sore and swollen throat, so at 40calories a pop I'm not upset. I'm just very tired of being sick!
