Simon's 21-day checkin

So I'm going to check in every day for the first 21 days on here. Yaay.
Today: SUCCESS.
Breakfast
2 x soft boiled egg
3 x slice of toast
Lunch
Polish bean soup with chicken
Broccoli and Cauliflower
2 x small pitta
1 x banana
(yes, I stuck it all on one plate!)
Dinner
Home cooked fried fish
Rice and mixed vegetables
1 x potato waffle
2 x small potato smiley face (hey, the kids were eating them...)
1 x small espresso coffee
Feel free to comment if you think that's too much food! FWIW, I'm 184cm tall and weigh 116kg at the moment. Last time I started No S, I was 120kg, I dropped down to 96kg before my resolve failed (and 20kg has come back on slowly since then).

Don't worry about eating too much food. Just follow the No-S rule.
Maybe you could put a piece of that cake into a plastic dish so it doesn't get stale, and save it for Saturday?
You're off to a good start!

You may think you were an idiot on your S-days, but you managed to pick it right up on Monday. Sounds good. Be patient with yourself, and make sure you get enough to eat on N days. Monday and Tuesday's food look very light!

What can I say? I was hungry! I didn't have time during the day to have Lunch, so at around 6pm when I sat down to eat the evening meal, I devoured my dinner, and knew I'd still be hungry in the evening. So I had lunch too.
Three meals, no snacking, no sweets, and this wasn't really seconds, it was time-delayed lunch - I'm counting this as a success

You just do the best you can do, then pick it up again (if necessary) when you get home. Enjoy your trip and don't let no-s be a stress point for you.

Am officially calling today and tomorrow S days, because I have to drive 1000 miles to Poland and we won't be eating properly!

Back from holiday!

by szymon
So, end of Holiday was Monday. I gained just under
1kg from five weeks of excess - mainly because it was so hot everywhere that we didn't eat very much! Hawaii, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Bangkok - we were eating twice a day, and drinking lots and lots of water!
Tuesday was a
failure - I tried, and failed. Too hard, after a long holiday. Wednesday was better.
Wednesday:
SUCCESS
Breakfast
Bowl of Special K
Lunch
Kotlety Schabowe (Polish pork cutlets)
Mashed Potatoes
Mushroom Sauce
Green salad
Dinner
Two cheese and ham toasties
And now I'm back

I won't be updating this thread any more - rather I will use habitcal. This was a very useful way to start off on the diet. I have now lost 2kg since coming back from holiday, so I'm back in the black
Thanks for all the help and support people.
