Noel's Daily Check-In

Okay, my first perfect day since I got back.
No-S
Exercise
Glass Ceiling.
I've been perfect on the Glass Ceiling since I decided I would do it, and it's been less of an issue than I thought it would be. I think in part it was because I was willing to blow off exercise or eating to get the most serious issue under control.
I'm really strict about "Glass Ceiling", though. If I make a wine spritzer, I still use a wine GLASS and it's a weaker drink.
But I do keep it to two literal glasses, and don't fool around with substituting and figuring sizes. A wine spritzer in a wine glass is ONE drink, and so is an appletini in a normal sized cocktail glass. (Which is smaller than glasses sometimes are in martini bars, but we all know restaurant portions are out of whack anyway). If I drank beer, which I don't, it'd be a regular 12 oz beer.
I have a party coming up this weekend where I serve something I call Evil Grownup Cocoa. (A very thick, rich cocoa with Ice 101 peppermint schnapps). This drink... it's deadly and it's easy to get away from you because it's very sweet and Ice 101 is very strong. I serve them in 6 oz glass mugs and it's not unusual for me (and my guests) to get lit at this particular annual party. So much so that I'm actually hoping people are not going to notice that I'm not going to be getting drunk. (Fortunately Evil Grownup Cocoa and just the cocoa look the same, so no-one but me will have any idea at all how much I've had or not).
While I'm not worried I'll break the glass ceiling, I don't really want to explain why I'm not drinking my usual or to talk about it. I'm embarrassed I let it get away from me in the first place.
I'm also noticing that I need to eat bigger meals earlier in the day. I often don't eat what would be a whole plate of food for breakfast or lunch and then I'm starving by dinner and want to cheat. I'm trying to make my meals each roughly equal in size. I managed it today and I had no desire to snack.
I don't shovelglove or do the urban ranger thing cause I like to swim and lift weights. I did get my rear in the pool today. YA!
