One Day At A Time

Today is a new beginning for me. I have lurked here for weeks, I have bought and read the book and now I am ready to begin the journey. This concept makes so much sense to me and I am thrilled that I stumbled upon it on the Internet.
I have tried the usual means of weight control with some success. As with so many other people, maintenance and "keeping interested" is my issue. After 2 years I just wasn't interested in counting another point! As a result, I have some weight to shed once again.
I am looking forward to integrating this concept into my lifestyle. My accountability will be to this site on a regular basis. Here's to my journey and as many green days as I can muster!

welcome cfrbdm. These boards are a great place for inspiration and advice. I am only into my second week of the No S lifestyle, but I come here everyday. It is a great community.
Again, WELCOME!!

I am pleased to attest that my first day was a success.
I did not "starve to death" over night.
I don't feel ravenous this morning.
I am not spending time trying to allocate all my "points" for the day.
I am not stressed because I have been invited to a birthday celebration this weekend.
I am looking forward to making a delicious healthy meal for dinner tonight without limiting my choices.
I am NOT stepping on the scale this morning to see if it changed. When it happens, it happens!
Yes, I think I can do this.

Pleased to report another green day.
I didn't realize how often I snacked while cooking. A few times I caught myself reaching for ingredients I was going to use in the meal to snack on. Making a sandwich involved getting out some mortadella for a sandwich, couple of slices for the sandwich and a couple of slices to eat while making the sandwich! Oh, oh, not any more! I could see how this would certainly add up over a week. Especially if it was something at each meal.
Aiming for another green day!

This is my first Sday.
Typically, I do well all week and succumb to "the binge" on the weekend. My hope is to stay focussed and have a few treats but to try and stick to only 3 meals and not an all-day (or 2-day) food fest followed by another guilty Monday morning!

I think I have my colours correct. Yesterday was my first sday. I would say it was a success. No out of control moments. I enjoyed a few treats but surprisingly didn't scarf down my usual bag of chips. It's interesting because I didn't feel like I needed to have them because "the end" was approaching on Monday.
Today I am going to a birthday celebration. My goal is to enjoy without excess.

Sunday was a successful day. I was conscious of what I was eating on the s-day. I enjoyed the birthday celebration in moderation and as a result, I feel great on this Monday morning! Usually, Monday's are a reflection of "all the food I ate on the weekend". Today, I look forward to the coming week.
