Still snacking, but eating less overall. I have out out a lot of fast food, and meat. My reflux has mellowed, and so has my indigestion. The only snack I had today was an orange in the AM and three chips  in the PM after work.

Heading for the dry sauna now.

Still a failure, but...I only snacked on a bag of peanut M&M's in the morning. Wait, I also had a handful of frosted mini Wheats. Still "down" 5-6 pounds, sometimes 7, and I can wear my Penguin polos and not look like a stuff bratwurst. So, size before weight.

Well,

Sitting on the coach this afternoon watching Pardon the Interuption when I realized I only had a 1/4 of a Ding Dong left in my hand and chocolate crumbs on my lips. Yea, failure. After that I ate....a lot.

But I did get my Body by Science workout in. As follows:

Nautilus Nitro Back Extension
Nautilus Nitro Leg Press
Nautilus Nitro Compound Row
Nautilus Nitro Overhead Press
Nautilus Nitro Abdominal

I feel like I've been in a car wreck.

Sunday S Day

Although Friday was a bust, and Saturday was a food fest, I have still lost a couple of pounds (as noticed via Sunday's weigh in). I would assume from trying to drink at least a gallon of watter a day. (See post in general comments.)

I did hit golf balls four at least 45 minutes a day on Fri-Sun. Not jogging ten miles, but activity.

179 on Friday. I spiked at 184 earlier last week. My weight flucuates, as all of ours does, but I am jumping to a lower weight than I was in the past.

The Super Slow workouts are going well. Last Wednesday I had the strongest workout I have had in sometime. Time under tension was up in all my lifts. I will be adding weight this coming Wednesday.

The garden is in, and the yard, beat up by another Teton eco-system winter is starting to come around.

Clarinetgal,

I have access to Nautilus Nitro machines at a local physical therapists. I have read, and continue to reread Power of 10 and Body by Science. Both books (along with Fred Hahn's Slow Burn) are the best writings in the topic. So, to be more direct, I do not have a video. There are excellent videos on youtube featuring Dr. Doug McGuff and Adam Zickerman either performing Super Slow workouts, or demonstrating the method.

Have a great weekend.

We've gotten battered by hail several times already. When the last storm blew in a few days ago, I decided that was it. Whatever happened would just be. The first time we replaced plants, but I'm done with that. Luckily it wasn't as bad this time.

I seem to have remained at my "shelf" of weight homeostasis. A week in California with extended family, friends, grilling, croissant sandwiches, Coke floats, pies, and unbridled eating. I forgot Otter Pops. I weigh the same.

Good Saturday.

Weight is the same. I am going to start my next weight loss assualt the third week of August. Really pleased that I have maintained through the summer. There have been a lot of grillings and otter pops this summer.

I have reworked my workouts. I have been using the Soloflex three days a week, about 20-30 minute workouts, full body. It is a nice change. I am sore, but not head on a accident type debilitating soreness I get doing Super Slow at the moment.

Edit: I guess I should read my own previous posts, you all already know I am Soloflexing.

Over43,

So I just spent a little time reading your thread and YES, we do eat alike! Your posts cracked me up too!

I will also say that my goal weight to be at a normal BMI (24 ish), is only about 7 lbs under what you are today. So, again, this gives me some hope I'll be able to get there eventually if I stay the No S course. I need a little more consistency around my exercise (like you have), but I'm surprisingly moderate about this. There are time periods where I do something every single day during a week and a then times where I do only a few days. It's just my schedule nowadays and I'm sure even that will change too!

Anyway, keep up the good work (and the yummy meals)!

Breakfast: one slice of bacon, egg/rice breakfast burrito, small wedge of cantaloupe

Lunch: burger patty, fries, sliced tomato

Dinner: Tyson chicken strips, Rice-a-Roni, cantelope/grape salad

For those of you who have stopped in and said hello, thank you.

As far as the Soloflex is concerned, I have had mine for 27 years. I have used it on and off, which is apparent when you read my daily posts. Usually I get bored with a certain workout and do something else. However, the Soloflex is probably the best exercise machine I have ever used. Right now I can get a full body workout in, and not have the awful post workout soreness I get with traditional free weights or Nautilus. I have not had to have an ice bath in a month. My wife, who has a basketful of physical issues, uses it, and my two 15 year old kids use it. So, I like it.

Success!

I have started working 11 hour days. It has kind of muffed me up. Today about 4:00 PM I started feeling like crud, so I remebered the milk. It worked. I made it. Unfortunately I am heading to Phoenix Saturday for "harvest" break. In laws. I don't think there is enough Clonazepam in the world to get me through this. Next week will suck. S week.

Today's Soloflex workout:

September 25, 2014

Body curls
Incline Press
Behind neck pulldowns
Seated military press
Tricep push downs
Squats

My weekly conditioning with vigorous matches of Bocce turned into touch football today. I will be sticking to the Bocce in the future.

Everyone have a good evening.

I was a flunky Monday, but yesterday was a success. Three meals and a post workout protein shake.

Yesterday's Soloflex workout must have been epic, I started feeling like crap by early afternoon. November 8, 2014

I seem to be eating less per meal, but, eating more per day. Failure there. Ran out of water tablets for a month. Started back on Wednesday. I have number oned since, constantly. Also dropped eight or nine pounds.

Still Soloflex-ing. Of all the Walmart, Coca Cola, and Tesla stock I have tried to buy over the years, the Soloflex is still my best investment.

Why thank you Ms. Lori, and a Happy Holiday season to you.

Still strength training. Some days I look slender, other days I look like pop n fresh.

I was going to do some kettlebell exercises today, until my wife caught me. I got the "sore back" lecture.

Until tomorrow...maybe.

Failure

I restarted neuroblockers today and that always ramps up my appetite until the dosage seems to "level" off. A bowl of Coco Crispies and two Poptarts is worth the two weeks I experimented not taking the Gabipenton. (sp)

Success Baby!

Wasn't even thinking about it. This morning I woke up and though, "Yesterday was the first S day in viele tag." (Sorry, I started Rosetta Stone.)

Breakfast was two biscuits and gravy and a mocha, lunch a sandwich/strawberries and a handful of cheese puffs, dinner - an anti-pasta salad.

I had an AM workout on the Soloflex, about a half hour.

See you tonight!

45 minutes of dodgeball with jr. high students. Followed by a choclate milk and a Vicodin chaser. I am going to rue the dodgeball tomorrow.

Until tomorrow.
