I've done no s for 2 weeks now along with daily exercise. I did have one slip up with a late night snack so I just made that my s day. I wanted to do it for awhile before I committed myself to a daily check in. It seems totally doable, which is really an answer to prayer as I was looking for something that could fit in with my lifestyle. I did do low fat eating a few years ago and lost alot of weight but I seemed to be eitheir hungry or obsessing about food alot, I could never eat with my family and to be honest I would rather spend the money now on treats for my daughters.

I'm 5.1 ft. I've about 10-15kgs to lose. I weigh about 65kgs now, which is a bit scarey as its the same that I weighed when I was a full 9 mos pregnant! I won't be weighing myself more than once a month as weighing myself seems to send me into a tizzy of panic resulting in binge eating!

I'm wondering if it's worth bothering posting these updates. I do the habitcal so I figure thats enough.

I need to figure out a solution for days I work facepainting at events. We don't have an official break so can often end up your lunch ends up being grazed over 2 hours, as you snatch a bite here and there. For this reason I had 2 failure days recently.

Hi Shandy,
Well done on reaching 21 days! The habitcal seems to be keeping you on track and if that's working for you then great - you don't have to do the daily check in. I use it to reflect on what I've eaten and how my habits are working so that if I hit a difficult patch I can look back at my habits. Checking in also gives other members a chance to encourage you or offer advice - that can be very useful as they have often gone through similar issues/patterns.

Re the 'grazing lunch' issue: I often have busy days where I can't eat all my lunch at once. I decided that I will plan in advance what to eat (the equivalent to a plateful of food) and then eat it when possible. Because the food is planned I don't count it as snacking - I'm just making no S fit my life.

Well after 21 days I spectacularly fell off the wagon. Alot of stress at home right now and I started having migraines - when I do I always crave sugar!
It's also TOTM etc.etc. and I just generally started feeling a bit out of control and had a few Failure days No S and exercise. On top of it all I stood on the scale and it read I'd actually gained a few pounds!!! Oh the shock and horror that after 21 days not only had I not lost weight I had actually gained! Anyways I know giving up is not a positive step so its back on the wagon I go!

I know I haven't posted for ages - normal life seems to have gone out the window!

My young, fit and active brother suffered a stroke and almost died while doing community work in India, my DD's cherished cat was hit by a car and killed, I found out a very close friend has a rare and life threatening disease - all in the space of a week!

I know I'll have this down when despite the things life throws at you, my no s way of eating isn't the first thing to go.

So no, onward and upward - climbing back on the wagon.

Again I've been all over the place and struggling to get back to No S and daily exercise. Won't go into boring details but life has been really hard just recently and I cope by comfort eating. Funny how being a humanitarian aid worker in the past I've survived high stress situations without going to pieces, but when its domestic I don't handle it as well. Oh well onwards and upwards.
