Hi everyone!
I just uploaded a video yesterday to youtube of my Son Richies most recent concert.
Please come check it out if you are inclined.
It's an improvisation on Summertime.
Richie is now 13 and he's just been playing since he was 10, but he is definitely beyond his years.
I'm extremely proud of him and just pray he continues to keep playing!

Wow, he sounds terrific! And he's very poised onstage, isn't he?

Thank you Thalia!
I agree!
He's my hero!
Even Stan Getz's Daughter Bev, gave him some great reviews when she heard his recordings a few years ago when he started playing and we opened up a myspace for his sax stuff..
I mean, if *she* is impressed, then there's gotta be something good there!
I truly hope he keeps up with it!!
I believe he could really have a solid future in music if he wanted it.
Summertime is one of the songs he has practiced now for a few years, so he is very natural at it..
But he's amazing.. He can read music and play in almost any key and improvise on songs he's never heard more than once..
Many *adults* can't even do that.
His teacher played with Whitney Houston, and Santana and Mahavishnu Orchestra.. His name is Premik Russell Tubbs, and he considers Richie to be his star student!

Thanks again!

Richies myspace has more music if you would be interested in hearing it.
All those recordings are from between the ages of 10 and 12.

So just let those buttons bust off--from pride--not because the shirt's too tight!

He's lucky to have such a supportive mama!
