back again - duh!
Okay, hopefully I'm now really, finally convinced to stick with it. I've had some success, but I seem to always fall back on my old ways by rationalizing one way or another. But over time my weight is creeping up, and I am 100% sure it's the bite "here and there" that is causing it. So I'm on vanilla No S.
Day two, and the wonderful immediate benefits - that my evil alter-ego likes me to forget -- are back. First and foremost, I feel great after a meal when I've waited long enough to be truly hungry. It's a feeling of physical and mental well-being that I never, ever get otherwise. No hunger -- no true satisfaction.
My biggest crime is that somehow I only vow to start No S again on Thursdays or Fridays. How convenient.
I hope this is the final time I have strayed. The millionth time is the charm.

Give it an honest year!
I'm sorry if I sound mean but I absolutely dote on the returners, partly because I'm glad someone is coming back to the party and making me look right. I am SO SURE that this is far and away a smarter way to live than just about any "diet, even if people don't get skinny.

I want to give it a year -- I want to give it all my years. I gave it many months in a row, but somehow decided it was "too hard" to pass up some crumb or other and one bite leads to another.... I think part of it is that our culture is now perfectly designed to lure us to at every turn. Maybe I should move to a country where people will look at me funny if I'm eating between meals.
