Yesterday was Friday and I had three good meals, no snacks, no seconds, no sweets. Felt the craving for snacks last night while watching my recording of Mad Men. But I knew I could make it until breakfast. Helps to relate this to my meditation practice--sometimes I just want to get up and go do something but I sit and just notice the impulse to get up. If I can just observe without acting on the meditation cushion I can do the same when I get the impulse to snack. Or go back for seconds. Sweets are not really an issue for me but since they are one of the three S's I didn't eat any yesterday.
Today is Saturday, an S day. But since its the second day I want to get a week under my belt before experimenting with the exceptions.

So far so good
Sunday. Since this is the first week i have been following No S--started Wednesday I am wanting to plant the habits of the Normal Days and so I haven't had any S's this weekend. I have been hungry between meals and do feel some anxiety at how much food is on my one plate (not overflowing but my diet mind keeps thinking too much food. My rational mind knows, especially given that I won't go back for seconds, that it is less than I usually eat at meals and without the snacking all day my day's consumption is down probably 20 to 30%.
Sunday Beer and wine on the boat
Planned to follow the N day rather than S day since it was my first week. But out sailing with friends I had a glass of wine and then a beer at Fish. Other than those I ate one plate per meal, no seconds, no sweets, and no snacks.
