Hungry 30 minutes after a meal - help!

Post by GraceW » Fri Aug 10, 2012 11:06 pm

Arrrgh, I totally miscalculated my dinner and am already hungry half an hour later. Any tips on how to make it to bedtime without raiding the fridge? I've had a perfect August so far and don't want to break the streak. Sooooo close to S day!

Don't know if this is too late. I would make myself a big mug of mocha or if it's too hot, an decaf iced coffee with milk.

Milk is allowed. A glass of it? Half a glass and see if it's enough?

Juice? Doesn't work for me but some swear by it. I've heard that some drink a lot of water with about a juice in a ratio of 1 juice to 9 water, if straight juice is too sweet.

OR find the most absorbing diversion possible while you tough it out., but personally, I have never tried going to bed hungry on No S.

oolalah, you're not too late. Thank you for the suggestion! I'm going to leave the house to run an errand and get the iced decaf with milk. I like that idea very, very much! I'm also going to continue reading my book, which is due back to the library soon.

This has happened a few times and I usually (not always) manage to tough it out.

Milk works for me as well...better than fruit juice for conquering hunger!
