You'll want to strengthen your abdominal and back muscles to support your spine better.

You should also reduce your weight (duh) if you haven't already done so, because that's obviously not beneficial for your spine, hip and knees.

If the back pain persists and you find yourself seriously impaired by it, you should definitely see a doctor (again, if you haven't already done so).
