Tobiasmom’s Journey 2019
Hey, All! I’m sure a lot of you remember me. I’ve known about No-S and jumped ship from it more times in the past 8 years than I could count. My latest “diet” was intermittent fasting. I’m sure it works for a lot of people, but for me I just have NO doubt the moderate approach of three plates and slow weight loss is just where it’s at for me. So I’m back to it. I’ve had a few greens this week so far. We recently moved from Hawaii to Texas (military) and just bought a house. My scale is still packed up so that’s probably a good thing! Ha. I recently got put back on blood pressure meds so yoga and walking are going to be added to the mix (although I honestly think all the coffee I was drinking daily with intermittent fasting might have done it). At the doc last month I was 225 so my weight is lower than it’s been but much higher than it was years ago when I first found No-S. What’s that tell ya???? . Onward!!!

I definitely remember you Tobiasmom. I think we started around the same time. I started posting again not too long ago. I did not quit doing NoS, but I get lax when I do not post. Welcome back!

Howdy! I don't remember you because I'm new here, but welcome!
It's a good time of year to be in Texas.

No-S Lifestyle (~Don't Eat Like An Idiot Diet) and re-learning how to eat like a normal person after failing post calorie counting. More than half a year of that sent me diving face first into a giant slice of cheese cake and ultimately fat again.
Re: Tobiasmom’s Journey 2019
Well, a couple more months have passed, and we have finally moved into our new house and are pretty well settled. My head just messes me up. I know after all these years there’s no miracle. I need to eat moderately. Snacks and sweets are my big issue, and that’s what No-S helps me moderate. I just cannot wait to once and for all follow this lifestyle and show that despite many many MANY failures....this is sanity! In the past I’ve wanted to commit to a year. But I’ve decided that I have an indefinite commitment. One day at a time. Three plates. There IS nothing else out there that I can or will stick to. There’s no time limit on this journey. I know if I follow the plan I will eventually lose little by little. The yo-yo all these years has just abused my body and mind. No more. If I sit and really think about all the money and pain I’ve caused myself the last 25 years....well, there’s nothing I can do about it now but to just stop the madness. I’ve said that many times. But I just can’t lie to myself anymore. Amy, you are worth it!

Of course you are worth it. Try not to see it as a diet for it to be permanent it has to be a way of life for life
