My pants are looser in the waist, and scale says I am down 6 pounds...
Still on plan 90% of the last couple weeks, some days have been having larger "brunch", then a light late afternoon "mini-meal" (handful of nuts and a piece of fruit or something similar that would fit on an appetizer plate), and average size supper instead of 3 regular sized meals.
Two days ago food:
9 am: 3 hash brown patties. (Yep-no balanced meal here, just the carbs please. Still a better choice by far than 3 donuts LOL)
Noon: Pizza, garden salad, 3 hershey's miniatures
6 pm: Small Steak (3-4 ounces estimate), buttered broccoli, baked potato
Yesterday's food:
11 AM brunch: apple, banana, turkey sandwich, fried potatoes, Starbucks Mocha
4 pm "mini-meal": handful of pistachios, apple
6 pm supper: chips with salsa and two tacos
Between meals I have been sticking to ONLY water, black coffee, and unsweetened plain peppermint tea. Trying to drink at least two-three 12 ounce glasses water between waking and before breakfast (or brunch). Just started this rather strictly about 10 days ago. Prior to that, I was sipping on a latte (no sugar) or a vitamin drink (with sugar) frequently between meals at least once a day. I also rarely have a caloric drink with my meals, just water except for maybe once/twice a week a lemonade or soda. And sweet coffee instead of dessert sometimes.
I am finding I think I sleep better if I keep my sweets/desserts to my lunchtime (or sweet coffee with breakfast) instead of dinner time. Don't know if it's true or not, but if it keeps my dinner healthier I will keep believing it is.
