madgoth's daily check-in
Hi,
I am getting started with No S after getting stuck at -25 on WW. I have the bad habit of eating when bored, mindless snacking, and too many sweets.
I guess my first day was officially last Friday, so I can say I had

So far today has been fine, but it is just past lunch.

I feel successful anyway. I wonder if having a cracker or handful of grapes or celery qualifies as a snack.
I actually feel hungry in between meals and think it might work if I eat something specific, like a small apple or a plain cracker just to stop the rumbling.
It was nice having a regular non-WW dinner. We had Great Northern beans with ham, fried potatoes and tomatoes, turnip greens and biscuits. Sort of starchy, but it was good and filling.
So far I am not missing sweets as much as I thought, but I am still having fruit, just trying not to have refined sugar etc.,

I believe the official answer is "yes, that's a snack." If it's any help, I found that when I stuck strictly to the rules, after a few days my body had learned to be hungry at mealtimes and not in-between. Just like you learn to be sleepy at whatever your usual bedtime is, you know?I wonder if having a cracker or handful of grapes or celery qualifies as a snack.
Well, I didn't eat sweets or seconds, but I had an all protein dinner and later ate a few nuts before the evening was over.
FAILURE sure sounds negative. Maybe I can say I did Pretty Well.
Today I will try again to eliminate that need to snick-snack between meals. I am prepared for it, with a bit of celery and a small apple, but I am going to try to get by without the extra.
