Hi all,
This morning I passed my one year anniversary of SG-ing!
I still love the Shovelglove system and I still think it's very effective for me.
Thanks, Reinhard, for the idea and thanks to all of you who have given support!

One Year of Shovelglove
Sledge,
I started with a 10-lb. hammer and now I mostly use a 12#. I'll likely upgrade to a 16# within another year or so.
Other than time off for an unrelated-to-Shovelglove injury, I have consistantly done SG 3-5 times per week.
What I have noticed: As Big Phil once stated on these boards, "I'm strong as f*ck!..." Also, my work capacity and endurance are far better. Finally, I would estimate that Shovelglove has helped me add 5-7 pounds of muscle to my upper body. Perhaps best of all, it never gets stale--I look forward to my session each time and I'm always trying to come up with new movements or new ways to do the old ones because the SG practice is engaging.
looking forward to another year...
