Happy Spring!

Post by gratefuldeb67 » Fri Mar 20, 2009 6:19 pm

Hi everyone! Just wanted to rejoice with you all that today marks the first day of Spring!!!
Strange this morning we had a tiny flurry of snow here on Long Island, but now the sun has finally popped out and I can feel my blues fading away as I type this!

I'm going to celebrate the first day of Spring, and use that as an excuse to go out for a short walk now.

Hope you all have a great weekend! :D

It's freezing! And it sucks. :(

Yeah, well, we're supposed to maybe have a bit of snow on Friday--but meanwhile last night was thunderstorms, lots of hail and multiple tornado watches! Here I am where anything can and probably will happen!

I figure we'll have at least some more snow since I took down all the snowmen figures in my office yesterday in the hope of spring really being here!

Have I ever mentioned how much I love living in Texas?

I'll be honest - I don't particularly like spring. The only reason I get excited around the equinox is because I dislike winter more. I'm more summer/autumn.

It's nice to see some green on the trees again, though, that's for sure.
8-bit is still awesome.

My favorite times of year are definitely the 'in between times' - Autumn and Spring. Love the colors and the not-too-cold and not-too-hot weather!!! :)

Yeah and you get some gorgeous fall colors in PA as I remember from a trip passing through that time of year!
