Day Four!! Still a success! Question about plate size???

Post by teandtjl » Thu Oct 15, 2009 10:41 pm

My husband and I are on day four and we are amazed at how easy this has been so far. We are using a ten inch plate and one layer of food.
Is this too big of a plate size?
In the past I always thought to lose weight you had to feel hungry at least some of the time. We haven't really been hungry at all except at the meal times. That is why I am curious about everyone's plate size. I want this to work and I don't want to over do it the first week.
Also in timing of the meals, I am allowing four hours between each one and having dinner between 5:30 and 6:00. That way by the time I go to bed, I'm still not hungry and I avoid the temptation to eat late in the evening.
How does everyone else work their meals out?

Nope, you're doing it exactly right. Hungry for meals is good. Sounds like you're taking to this right away.

I generally have 5-6 hours between meals -- sometimes longer.

It sounds like you are doing great. If you are happy, I wouldn't change anything right now.
