I can do this

Post by skiqueen » Sun Jan 26, 2014 6:32 am

It has been 4 days so far, it is a start. I have always exercised regularly but the food has never been in control. So far so good, I'excited, I can see this working for me.Exercise is only one component, believe me, I run 10km races, ski, bike, workout regular and still carry too much weight because of over eating, I hope a slimmer me will be a better athlete. This forum is a help, glad it isn't just me with this problem. Thanks for the words of encouragement,

Nearly all societies that have abundant access to food have this problem.

You CAN do this. It's a very reasonable way to live. Stay the course, though. There are stages in adopting a new way of eating until it becomes permanent, not all of them easy.

But I'm really glad to see that you see the potential! (Don't know if you've read Reinhard's thoughts on exercise, about how for most of history, certainly agricultural history, humans have worked hard without frequent eating. You don't have to eat extra to work out.
