I'd add a small serving of cheese. I find fruit, cheese and possibly nuts a very satisfying end to a meal.

So, just Thanksgiving and Christmas? Those and Easter are the only ones I can think of where everything is closed. I'm in Europe - think we have at least 9 this year: New Year's day, Easter, National Day, Ascension, Pentacost, Corpus Christi, Independence Day, All Saints, Christmas, Boxing Day........

Sleep, though exercise is a very close second (like sleepexercise). Both are essential for health as well as weight loss. Having said that, in most places of the world, very few people set aside time for exercise, it's just part of the day. even in the developed countries. It's only in the places wh...

This is just food for thought, but your kids don't need more than one snack daily. In the last year I've read Bringing up Bébé by Pamela Druckerman and French Kids Eat Everything by Karen Le Billon. Just this morning I heard someone say that losing weight is easy; maintaining the weight loss is not. Years ago I read "start as you mean to continue." With No-S, what you do on the first day is the very same thing you'll do 5 or 10 or 20 years after you've lost the weight you wish to lose. You don'...

I also recommend that you start right away. I wouldn't worry about the cream, either. If you can have whole milk anytime, you can certainly have some cream in your coffee.

If I have a sandwich at a meal, I'll often have chips with the meal. But I never have them as a snack.
