Thanks Kevin and Rene!! I had a few failures since then, due to some really bad period symptoms, but I'm over it now.. I didn't mention before, maybe because I wasn't so sure how I'd do yet, but I also made a huge shift in my eating besides the organic stuff and cutting out high fructose corn syrup ...

I light incense and breathe in the smell when I am feeling bad. Breathing in a good smell really calms me down. You can also do this with a candle. And even though it's odd, I sometimes crochet to calm myself down. As a person who worries myself sick, crocheting time is my sacred time... as the mot...

That is wonderful Eva!!! 30 lbs in a year is a great success!!!! It's those fad diets that promise 30 lbs loss in a month, that perverts our own vision of what should be considered normal or healthy.. Good for you!!! I agree with KCCC... try to have less red days and do exercise as well..
But besides that, at this time of year, not gaining is a kind of success of it's own. Be happy for that!
Keep at it :)

KCCC, I agree with you that having all weekends as S Days definitely helps with the holidays. Last night, I had pecan pie as my mother in law looked on disapprovingly, and this morning I had steel cut oatmeal. Today I'm making biscotti (again) but waiting until tomorrow to actually eat it. I also f...

And I mention ten pounds as a kind of random amount, but just trying to say, it takes so long to lose and it's just so easy to gain.
That's my own experience.
Take care,

Just think how proud you will be of yourself, if you,at least, give it a good try to stick to the actual holidays KCCC!!! Not sure about you, but I know that if it took me four or five months to lose ten pounds, I certainly don't want a few weeks to totally undo all my hard work in establishing habi...

Hi guys! Quick update here. I had gained about 3 or 4 lbs during my trip down to Florida for my Grandads funeral, and then, I got sick with a virus that I seemed to be trading back and forth with my Son for a few weeks as well, so my exercise was nil... But I'm pleased to say that even without the e...

Hi there! The "Vanilla" concept is really about N days not S days... I usually enjoy S days without restrictions.. That's really the only way to truly enjoy them.. They are the reward for being good during the week and something to look forward to and savour.. That doesn't inherently mean to over in...
