Weight gone for good

(New!) Read (or post) about people who have stuck with No-S for 10 or more months, lost 10 or more pounds, or 10 or more percent for their starting weight. Periodic updates strongly encouraged -- you can think of it as "Yearly Check In."

Weight gone for good

Post by TigerCrane » Wed Jul 24, 2013 11:16 pm

I started at 265 lbs. After a combination of No-S and Shangri La, I got down to 219. (that's me record high and record low.)

I got lazy and dropped the diet, and climbed back up to 245. (gained 15) The remaining 20 never came back. It's gone for good. Permanent weight loss. That's over five years.

During those five years I was overtraining in crossfit. Overtraining can cause weight gain. When I stopped, I went down to 235. (current weight)

I'm now back on No-S, and am planning on getting back down to 220.

Thank you for posting and congrats!! Very impressive - especially the five year part! Have you been on No S that whole time?

I love further proof that diets don't work (even when they seem to work in the short term) but that No S makes it to the finish line.

Very impressive! Congratulations! It's great to see such lasting effects -- wishing you even more, now that you're fully back on No-s.

Thanks for the props, folks!

Finallyfull,

No, I wasn't on No S the whole time. I lost a bunch with diet and exercise. When I dropped the diet, I gained back fifteen. That's why I'm calling it permanent. Even off diet the bulk of the weight is staying off. Now I'm going to go back on it and get even lower!

Thank you Reinhard!
