http://i32.tinypic.com/seyn85.jpg Cheers ! Marc ;-) Disclaimer : I am following a more extreme version of the 'No-S' diet. I made my own personal modifications to the original plan (Diet & Exercise) What I am doing should not be misinterpreted as being a typical 'No-S' diet experience. 11/01/2008 :...

Hey Mimi, I wanted to add to your list of things to be proud of.. You survived an extremely upsetting and painful experience recently. Do you have any idea what a perfect excuse that could have been to just get depressed and eat and eat?? You didn't do that, so good for you! I actually just came by...

Mimi, I love your list! No-S really covers more than weight loss, doesn't it? Yes, it certainly does KCCC! Peace and harmony, good work , Mimi ! That's right 2 to 3 pounds per month average, that's what you need, after a year, those 2-3 pounds every month definitely add up ! That's my thinking too ...

It's like my house was flooding, and everyone is trying to tell me where water comes from, how the water got into the faucet, how the faucet works, how the water will damage the woodwork inside the house...but no one says, "turn off the water, moron." I know this is mucho late, but I HAVE to say th...

Welcome back KCCC! I got back from get-away #1 a week ago, and now am leaving for get-away #2 tomorrow - to the beach with DD and the two little grandkids. A 2-year-old and a 2-month-old - we should have lots of fun! Plan to use the same strategy as last time - only S-worthy treats allowed! Boardwal...

BigE - read my check-in for today on my thread being that today was the first of my official weigh-ins for August. (I do three and take an average as Reinhard suggests in the book). Having lost only one pound, I felt discouragement too initially. Then I took a long, hard look at my progress over the...

August 1 - Okay, I weighed this morning (#1) eager to see any progress made in July...down one pound. (I know that I am going to weigh Sunday and Monday and take an average, but I'm thinking that it probably won't go down much - if anything, it'll go up being there are two S days! ) Anyway, m...

I hear you too! I was guilty of almost the same thing...I tried NoS back in 2007 and it worked very well, but I got off track after a vacation and then no matter how hard, or how many times I tried to get back on track, I couldn't seem to do it. I think then panic set in, and I looked for other ways...

Thanks Nicole! I really appreciate the positive comments! Wednesday, July 29 - Green NoS - no exercise. My three little grandkids were here all afternoon, so I guess I got more exercise than I think! They're heading away for a few days, so we watched them while my son did some things he needed to do...

Awww, Berry! What a beautiful story! I'm reading this late, but I hope you had a wonderful day and enjoyed every minute spent with your hubby. Here I am! I'm in! My month of July had lots of yellows - both for NoS (vacation!) and exercise (healing from dog attack). So my goals will be: 1) no reds 2) less yellows - particularly in exercise 3) focus on habits August 1 - S-Day exempt. Green for exercise. Okay, I weighed this morning (#1) eage...

Pilots are off-course something like 90% of the time. But they just keep making the adjustments necessary to get back on course. We don't know and don't care, as long as we arrive at the right destination. If you were on plane and headed for New York, but landed in Baltimore, you might be a little ...

Is it just me or do you guys and girls find “too skinny†to be just as unhealthy as “too fat It seems to artificially age people as well. I cringe when I see all the celebrities that used to have good shapes and physiques but are now mimicking concentration camp victims. In my mind it's qui...

Re: Rough start and a couple of questions
I've been a closet No S dieter for two weeks. I've failed at so many diets, I don't tell my friends when I'm trying something new. With No S so far, I have about a 50% success rate. Sad though this sounds, this is the best success I've had following any diet. This system sounded so easy to me, but ...
