what's wrong with me!???
I've been on NoS for one and a half years and I'd like to think I'm nearly a seasoned veteran at it. After a slight struggle in the beginning, I now have non-idiot S days, perfect N days and also exercise three times a week. However lately I seem to be falling off the wagon a lot. I guess you could ...

dairy free?
I'm contemplating going on a dairy-free(ish) diet for my N days. I know this is not a part of NoS in any way but just wanted to try something new and see if it makes a difference. I'm quite skinny on top but am abnormally pear shaped so I wanna see if I can lose the few extra pounds from the hips by...

I'm asian and I can relate. We often eat out in Chinese restaurants where everyone shares dishes set in the middle of the table. Depending on how full I am, I have two servings of each dish, and a third serving for my favorite or one serving of each dish and a second for my favorite. And in case two...

For the past two years, I've been exercising for about an hour every day, and have been eating approx 1400 average daily calories, and I still have not been able to drop my weight down to 105 and keep it there for more than a couple of days at at time. At this point, I'd also love to get to 110 and...

have I reached my 'happy' weight???
This is my story and it's rather long... I started NoS in March 07 and loved it because it gave me freedom from worrying about food and I had a history of not eating at all/eating a LOT. But even staying within the limits of NoS, I've yo-yo-ed a lot. First I lost about five pounds to go from 120 lbs...

I try to chew 15 times every bite. I read in some magazine that this helps you better enjoy the taste of whatever you're eating. Regardless of whether this is scientifically true I find sticking to this makes me more conscious of the act of eating, and eating is less a frenzied event. I don't follow...

Had two very idiotic S days. I thought I'd gotten this S weekend thing under control but coming home from college has thrown my eating habits into disarray again. I keep telling myself that at least my N days are okay so I'm going to focus on that aspect now. Sunday night..actually felt like I was g...

I had a similar situation. Went out for breakfast and ordered a 3 egg omelette with sausage and mushroom, with a side of baked beans and two slices of buttered toast. I have also gained weight on NoS for a period of time ( most of the time I lose or maintain which works fine for me!). Looking back, this was because I was eating the same portion meals as my housemates ( who are all taller and more well-built). My weekends were quite crazy, and I was also consuming...

I've started doing the S days challenge. I get a handful of S treats for every different place I'm at. For example, yesterday I stole one french fry off my friend at the pub, had a rice krispie treat at home, an ice cream at the park, and a two-course dinner for my friend's birthday. It sounds like ...

when u can't say no
I know for most occasions, something like "I'm too full" or "I'll have it later" works..but what about when you just CAN'T say no? For example, I've been to two sit-down formal dinners in the past week and saying no to dessert would have offended the host, yet I didn't want to take an S day because ...

I would like to know if after a year you have lost weight??? Resting52 hmm this is a tricky one. I've lost th...

Sounds to me like S-days need their own mini everyday system. The thing that makes the everyday systems work is that they are formulated with such precision and clarity; the twelve words of no-s are really really clear, except for S days. What I think may be needed is a new image paired with a new ...

Anyone else actually dread S weekends?
I've been on NoS for nearly a year now, and I've got my N days nearly perfect... I very rarely have any reds on my N days now ( touch wood!), and I think I've got the habit thing down quite well. The result of this is that I have grown to nearly 'dread' my weekends. On one hand, I think 'yay! I can ...

I've found out some things from uncontrolled S days. I don't really like 'cheap' chocolate anymore..the kind u get near the till.
