I have to agree with Reinhard. From personal experience, when No S stops working for me it is seldom the S-days that are to blame. 99.99% of the time for me it is that snacking (my major downfall in life) has crept back in - often unrecognised until I go looking for it. I am up 0.2kg (0.44lb) this week but I think it is hormonal. I am recording this as part of my journey, but for once I am truely unfazed by the scale. I know I did No S 100% last week and if I keep doing this the results will happen. I am not even bothering to change my signature as I know this will...

I have found that since doing No S I have uped the size of my breakfast and my lunch and by doing this I make it to dinner with few problems. I always used to suffer with the 3pm munchies and now I seldom feel snacky then. The first few weeks were hard, but my brain adjusted and now I just don't thi...

Silverstorm My mom is now doing No S with me. Now this is a woman of 60 who looks like she might be 50 at a stretch, perfect weight to height ratio, BMI 100%. She eats an unbelievably healthy diet and does yoga twice a week and is solid muscle. She is someone who if she feels she had gained a little...

I'm Back, Again!!

Thanks Deb, but the wheels seriously fell off after that post.  In fact I think I actually lost the wagon!! I have had 5 weeks where I ate as I pleased, did no exercise and did not post on any of my support threads (too embarrassed). The net result of this was a 2.2kg (4.84lb) gain of w...

10th to 16th February

I had a small gain this week - 0.5kg (1.1lb) - For once I am not at all fazed by this - we will just wait and see what the rest of the month holds.

My eating was 100%
My exercise was 40% - very tired this week for some reason.

Here's to a super No S week ahead.

Doulachic I agree 100% it is something that we should do every day. I think the thing that irritates me about Valentines Day is people spend a fortune on this one day and then spend the rest of the year verbally and emotionally abusing one another. One day cannot fix a year's damage. I see it with p...

As Deb said - enjoy the freedom from constantly obsessing over calories that this program brings. I also have every aspect of my weightloss charted and graphed to death. And you know what it has been fantastic not to have to 'report' my habits. I just eat 3 meals a day and that is it - no arguements...

We do not usually celebrate Valentine's Day, so I doubt whether we will do anything.

I don't need any extra days in the week to eat treats, so I think I will wait for my usual S days.

For those celebrating - enjoy it.

For 3aday - Happy Anniversary - it is definitely an S day for you.

A good trick is to cook a little extra dinner the night before and have that. Stew / Mince on toast is yummy. Chicken / fish fillet with some salad on a roll is also a great one.
