Great explanation and visual of using your whole body to drive the punch. And your tips at the end are excellent. I won't spoil the spe...

My plan is to cook as much as I can and use unprocessed foods when available but not obsess when I can't and still stay on the plan. Welcome aboard! It sounds like you are heading in the right direction with No-S. I, too, bumped into it on Amazon last year, and haven't looked back since. Just a sma...

We're eating, in essence, adult baby food. Twenty years ago the average chews per bite was about 20, now it's two or three. I got a chuckle out of Kessler's characterization of "hyper-palatable" foods layered with sugar/fat/salt as "adult baby food", but then it occurred to me that this might be a ...

Easy Salsa Soup
Most days, I have a sandwich and a cup of the soup for lunch. (I make a big batch of vegetable soup every two weeks and freeze it in single-serving containers -- lots of veggies, lots of peeling and chopping). I've become so used to homemade soup, that canned has started tasting artificial. If I've ...

Tomorrow will mark 100 days of DH being deployed. It feels like FOREVER. I chose to stay at home with my 5 yr old son and 2 yr old daughter. I have stocked my fridge with yogurt, melon, eggs, Green Goddess juice, OJ, Pomegranate juice and 2% milk. There is a case of Retro Pepsi’s but I save them for the weekends. June 2009 Challenge: Week 2
June 8, 2009 (Mon) = Green A very slow launch this morning. Felt sluggish and unenthusiastic. Rallied in late afternoon, did meal plan for the week, made grocery list, went marketing, cooked a good supper from real food, got in a 5000 step walk, shugged -- got it all done and felt better.
