Good point... I'd too rather enjoy 1 Sday without guilt than try to tame 2 every weekend and feel bad. I think you may be right. I tried to have a green day Sunday, but it wasn't preplanned and I failed. Maybe if I planned ahead to mentally prepare  I'd be alright. That may be my plan! I'll p...

You have my total sympathy! My full time working days were a breeze compared to staying home with your own kids! I'm a SAHM and we have 4 kids and the oldest was 8 when the youngest was born. There were days when I just burst in tears of frustration and couldn't wait for relief. Sometimes my hubby w...

Well... I ate all of those healthy things plus! I feel the need to explain about my Saturday mornings... It's the first S day for the week, and yes, I do keep S days in mind for a goal to get through the week, however I don't plan conciously to get up and snack and snitch all day!!! When I wake on S...

I have a ton of fresh fruits and veggies, so if I think I haaaaaave to snack, they'll be better... cherries, corn on the cob, fresh garden salads, apricots, green onions... good intentions anyway.

Wow, you guys really make a person feel good about a tiny seed! I have it sitting in my kitchen window sill, and will try to look at it this weekend, although it's so tiny. I'm growing a mighty oak of good habits. I just need to do a bit of weeding. Speaking of weeding... I am really enjoying...

Weigh in today and still at a stand still. I know that if my S days were like my N days, I'd loose a lot more! I feel like the habit is much easier, with few temptations, and only a couple true struggles, because I've made up my mind on N days. It's those stinkin' S days that set me back. I'll try m...

I did 60 minutes (2X30min.) of exercise today. :D While doing my Leslie Sansone CD I noticed one of my hubbies CDs is Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire!It was right in front. I was so surprised, especially since he's a rock type of guy. I think I need to download it. I'm reminded at every turn!

That's funny that you said that... I just did another 30 min. for the day (told ya I was motivated) and came in to drink my 4 cup water bottle with a splash of cranberry. Yep, I felt good  remind me of that when I get lazy.

I also eat more all day long if I make myself have an early breakfast. I usually eat my first meal around 11:00 (brunch) and I end up having 2 meals most days. If I eat early, it's like opening up those flood gates. We all do what works. 2 meals isn't going against No S either, so you don't even hav...

Your talk about exercise is starting to get to me... I've had good intentions and that's about it lately, but I did a hard half hour today and plan on doing a minimum of 15-30 daily. I'm tracking it on a habitcal. It's so easy to get lazy when tired and busy. Thanks for your incentive and energy-tra...

Ha! Only if you drank it... but then if you hit hard enough, you'd be injured and could probably call it a special day.

I just had to mention what happened last night. I sat through an entire softball game next to my sunflower-seed-eating hubby and I didn't even have one!!! I do what I call my heart and soul exercises. Heart is physical exercises and soul is reading the Bible. I have been at a stand still (weight) for a bit now and I notices that I also haven't been keeping up with my heart and soul... so I'm reinstating it. I'm on a read-the-Bible-in-a-year plan and I...

It depends on how big your bowl is I suppose. If it's a broth base and a "good for you" soup, then I suppose you could use a bigger bowl . I know I do when I have something like an all veggie soup and I know it won't stick around long in my tum. Be reasonable when you use a bigger bowl though, and r...

I have noticed that the longer I'm doing no S, the less junk I'm eating. I started out thinking that I can eat some junk on my plate at meal time, say a side of chips and stay in control of it. That's what got me going in the first place... the promise of having it later, just waiting. I still "plan...
