The plain Fiber One is very, very healthy and low sugar - - but I must confess that, to me, it tastes an awful lot like shirt cardboard.

There are many Fiber One varieties, but some have quite a bit more sugar. I can't speak to how those taste.

Ok, success came easy for once! I didn't eat enormous portions, and yet somehow I wasn't all that hungry. It was a nice change. I wonder if it was the weather. It went from 10 degrees early in the week to 20 degrees to suddenly hitting 55. It felt like summer. I'm not kidding.

I think that syrup would be considered a "sweet" . . . so if you are trying to really follow no sweets, no snacks, no seconds, I don't think syrup fits the program.

I love pancakes too, but only have them on weekends.
