Ok. I hope this doesn't come out sound silly. When I'm feeling stressed or frustrated, I find that my mind keeps me up at night going over and over the issues I'm struggling with. I find it helpful to stop and think to myself, "Ok, clearly there are things that are bothering you so let's identify th...

Hi Marcia! I'm not sure I did a formal introduction when I first started No S. I just jumped on the discussion board and shared my questions / insites on the topics. I enjoyed your post. I too have also tried the Intutive Eating plan and Weight Watchers. I found on WW I simply could not count points...

Ohhhhh! This post was really timely for me! I've only been doing the no S for about a month. I love it but I find that my S days are still ...well let's just say I haven't worked out the moderation piece yet for S days. I'm doing really great on my N days and I've enjoyed some weightloss alre...

Welcome back! ...well ok, I'm pretty new and probably didn't chat with you in earlier posts but I wanted to add my encouragement along with the others. :D Your post meant a lot to me today since I had a(nother) "S weekend gone wild". It's funny how much I look forward to the S days by Friday and the...

I'm voting for you TOO!! The loss of beer alone will drive him over the edge, won't it? I mean... I think that's a staple to most men's diets. Personally, I couldn't give up bread...or a S day sweet. I don't know if this is motivating or helpful...but I added a tiny little mod to my No s routi...

Thank you everyone! I really enjoy the different ideas and perspectives that everyone shares on this website and I find myself checking the site daily.

Each of your stories and experiences help to shape the new decisions I make about food.

The Sneaky Saboteurs

I had a 'rant' in a earlier discussion link and I'd like to bring it up again out of interest in everyone elses stories. I have now experienced this phenomenon twice and would be interested in hearing others stories on this topic. I did not experience this when I did WW's. Here's my rant --> It's st...

Hi Breslaver! I am also not local to you, nor am I Jewish...but were you looking for someone to share your location and religion OR were you simply sharing a little bit about yourself and looking for some support on this wonderful journey to better eating habits? I do try to check the site regularly...

LOL! Your reply is too adorable! I will be turning the big 4 zero this summer (look I can't even write the number 40!!). I'm determined to be one of those women people look at and go, "You're HOW old?? NO WAY!!" My girls are 19 and 21 so I've passed that young stage, where they just didn't ev...

Congrats! (and WELCOME BACK!) I have to admit I did not know what Zumba was so I had to hook onto U-Tube to take a look! SO FUN! I'm really impressed with your energy level. I'm sure doing that kind of dancing and getting your 3 meal habits back in place will take care of any little baby tummy in no...

Down 11 pounds!! That's wonderful! WAY TO GO!!! I am a 2 week veteran of the diet so I can't offer you any wisdom from years of practicing this eating habit. I can, however, assure you that I feel the same way!! My first S weekend was a 'gone wild' one (have you listened to the Pod caste on this sit...

I just had to reply to "I didn't NEED it, I wasn't really still hungry, I just wanted to eat another pancake!" This made me smile and laugh because I related so much to the comment! I think the beauty of the S day is that it's SUPPOSED to satisfy our emotional cravings as well...not just the physica...

Yes, Thank you..

Thank you for posting your weights and for showing the week days that you were exempt as well. It was nice to see you had a couple of week days that were exempt (probably for some special occasion) and yet you kept losing. I had a S day for my husband's birthday on Tuesday and I felt guilty for havi...

Adding my 'newbie' story to Mrs 'H's'

I have to say I love the message board! I started the No S diet last week and was able to stay in the green during my N days. I did worry about the amount of food I put on my plate and I did go a little crazy during my first S weekend... but going out to the website and reading everyone's stories ha...
