Definitely, MJ. Let's hope this will be another one! Felt like weighing in today, so I did. Before I stepped on the scale, I told myself I'd be happy with anything < 60 kg, but when it said 59.5 kg, I still wasn't too happy. It's not surprising, though, with all those red days I've had this month. B...

Guess what? I actually didn't have anything else the rest of Friday, and it wasn't even too hard. On Saturday, I felt pretty bad health-wise, with a stomachache, headache and an upset digestive system... I only had a cup of milk and a bread roll with jam for breakfast, a handful of cookies in betwee...

Thanks, Sinnie. Unfortunately, I kept eating after those cookies (to be brutally precise, I ate the rest of the cookies, six out of nine Kinder country bars, two Nussecken, the Schaumkuss I'd mentioned Monday and a tiny square of white chocolate). I'm done now. I started a HabitCal for March. Turns ...

Free day (sort of) today! Had the usual breakfast at 9:20 am, then lunch at my grandma's. I brought my own food (two slices of buttered, salted bread, an apple, a cup of yogurt with jam mixed in) because I don't eat meat, but she had already prepared two boiled eggs and some cucumber and tomato slic...

Breakfast and lunch were the same as usual (except the bread wasn't quite that awesome). I didn't get drink a lot at work today, didn't even have tea; I'll have to make that up later. Dinner had better be good. My willpower muscle is exhausted. Why? - today was my last day at work and nobody really ...

Had pretty much the same food as yesterday, except for dinner, which was pasta with tomato sauce (organic!) and an apple. Otherwise, everything went pretty normal... I had to do some resisting when I walked home after work and was confronted with all the nice foods, but I'm used to that already. Ton...

Sinnie, thanks for your post! I'll make sure to check out your thread and pray for you and your fertility issues. I wish you good luck with your diet, too! Today has been a SUCCESS thus far. I had muesli with milk for breakfast and drank a cup of prune juice along with it (yeah, I have intestinal is...

Hey Berry! Thanks for the support! You're right about that -- I don't need anyone else to beat me up; I already do that pretty well myself :? And thank you for sharing your story. I'll make sure to share some of mine in the future, too (and not get embarrassed and stop posting when I fail, as I did ...

Katie's Daily Check-In
Hey everyone, I'm back. You may remember me from when I got started in September 2009. I didn't fail a single time for about 9 months, when my aunt bought me an ice cream cone without knowing I was on No-S. I ate it. Turns out I really can't stand FAILURE, so whenever I fail, I do mods to allow this...

Well, doctors can explain this phenomenon... I'm only in my first semester as a med student, but I believe it has something to do with glycogen. When you eat something, most of the energy is stored as glycogen for the first few hours before it's either burned or transferred into fat. That's what I k...

Guys, it's a meme. Look (well, don't, if you take offense to cursing): http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/bitch-high-as-fuck (I know there's cursing in the link as well, and I could have used tinyurl.com, but who'd have clicked a link like that if I'm supposed to be a spam bot now anyway?) I used to live...

A Good Warning Label in A French Advertisement
I just watched a French commercial because I wanted to read an article on a French website. It was an advertisement (sp?) for Twix. Nothing unusual. What was unusual about this, though, was a little "warning" on the video (it was continously shown in a little bar). It translates to: For your health,...

Okay, kinda fell off the wagon the week before last (April 23 - 27), but it was okay, I guess. The next week, I was on a seminar, which I considered yellow. There wasn't that much food, so I guess I pretty much stayed the same weight. This week was kinda hard because we were also on a trip, but I ma...

I love this plan. Yesterday, I went to McDonald's with a friend before going to a bar, and I had fries and chicken nuggets and Sprite, but didn't drink the Sprite, so it was green. And at the bar, I had 100 % orange juice, and it was still green. And on the way home, I had a piece of gum and it was ...

Sinnie, I just have five words of advice for you: Mark it and move on. (Also, it might be a good idea to ban sweets in your house until you have learned a little more self-control. It works that way: You practice your self-control, and THEN you will be able to have sweets around without problems. If...

It's actually not monotony for me... it provides a kind of calmness... and I don't seem to be suffering from too little vitamin or anything yet. Anyway, remember reading about how we only had one source of willpower and if that was gone -- too bad? Mine was drained today, and at 1 am (yeah, I'm usua...

I'm back to Vanilla No S now, actually, and it feels so good. About dinner, I can't really tell you, as I don't really get hunger pangs after that, more like after lunch. When I do feel like I want some more in the evening, I just remind myself of the awesome breakfast I'll have the next day, and th...
