I've added 5 reps and the shovel is starting to feel light. So, next week I'm going to borrow that 3.5 kilo sledgehammer. I'll do 5 reps with my shovel to warm up and 5 reps with the sledge hammer. I feel ready to try some of the moves that involve twisting: Fireman, Chop Wood and Drive Fence Posts....

Feb 17: Green. My shoveling is going well. I've added 5 reps to my routine. I'll borrow that 3.5 kilo sledgehammer next week and do 5 reps with my shovel and 5 reps with sledge. I want to try some of the reps that involve twisting. Fireman and fenceposts. I'll start with mop.

Feb 16: S Day as it's the day before Lent and I fast during Lent. 2 meals per day and the only S Day is Sunday as Sunday is always a feast day.

feb 10: Green. Shovelgloved. Only 3000 steps as I crashed and burned. I fell asleep on the sofa and slept all afternoon. I don't know why, but I was so tired that my joints ached! Thanks, Elena. Amen, Kathleen! I'm trying very hard to disassociate special with stuffing my face. I agree with filling your time. A lot of mindless eating comes frome plain boredom. Learn to knit, embroider or crochet. Anything that can occupy your hands. It's hard at first, but it's worth it! Happy shrinking!

Like you said, lean protein, such as chicken or lean beef. I'd stay away from Japanes soups and such on N days because one gets HUNGRY real fast after. Maybe on S days if you really love them?

Elena, have you considered joining the perfect January club? Or maybe the 21 Day Club? I find it's a real motivator. Whenever I'm tempted to snack or have sweets on an N day, I just think 21. Then I do something else.
