I think its really important to pay attention to what your body is telling you. We are all different and what is right for one may not be right for another. My husband loves oatmeal and will be satisfied till his next meal which is usually 5 hours later. Me? It does not satisfy. I too experience the...

Becoming is a very wonderful name because that is very apt to the process you are and will be experiencing. First let me say that I am a former binger so I understand what you are saying on a very personal level. It took me many years to overcome binging - it is very complex, very deep rooted and ve...

Definitely frustrating to say the least and I can empathize with your feelings of panic. But I back everything that has been said. There is support for you and the important thing is to continue the program as well as refine what you have been doing. For example...you mention white carbs and juice. ...

Have not read the book. But your message triggered some memories for me. I probably spent at least 10 years in therapy trying to understand why I binged and how to get 'control' over it. Understanding is important. I kept a diary which was very helpful in determining those triggers and what my feeli...

That's true - I feel hungry today, am on vanilla NoS and I find myself needing to exert more control on myself than I did yesterday while fasting. I felt empty yesterday and I did notice meal times - but I found it easier to keep away from all food than I do keeping away from just some. Something u...

some thoughts on patience
I am a relatively newcomer to No-S, I started in January 2010. I found that initially it felt very slow but as the lbs kept dropping off and the cumulative number started growing, my perception of slowness changed because the change became significant. Sticking with it is the key. What I kept tellin...

You seem to already know why you are not losing. You've listed many of the possible reasons. I would start tweaking there. Keep it simple. Start with the caloric drinks. Cut your juice with water or make it a spritzer. Cut out the milk. Find some herbal teas that you enjoy drinking without the sugar...
