I agree, any exercise you can stick with is good exercise. The only motivation that works for me with weights is osteoporosis and the worry of losing bone mass.

I am glad you worked it out with your friend. I have a close friend who is also the polar opposite of me on the political spectrum and we typically don't talk about anything political, but Covid affects all of us and its hard not to talk about.

Your blood sugar experiment really is so interesting. I find it interesting that your blood sugar was elevated after physical activity. I always thought it would be the opposite.

Sounds like some interesting ideas! I also love soup. Especially crockpot soup. All my kids hate it though. One of my favorite meals is a big bowl of soup with a piece of toast. As you can see in my check in, I eat that for lunch quite a lot! :)

Octavia sounds like you are doing good! I have looked at those mini bike pedaling things too. IT is nice to have a way to get your heart rate up in your own house and work your muscles. Every time I start running I ALWAYS go too fast too far and burn myself out. Sounds like you have a great way to improve, get stronger, enjoy what you are doing, and not burn out. That is awesome!
