...here's what;s been working for me...Rhinehard mentioned that you can have 4 meals if you need it...with my blood sugar issues, i probably should, but i wanted to keep that "fence around the rules" and keep it to 3. So at night, I have a drink...a Sugar Free Hot Cocoa to be exact. I also load in a...

Thanks so much guys...
...I appreciate the good cheer! And, indeed, it is very god to know there are no lecturers, no person who raises their hand in a crowd and talks about how they freeze individual grapes and pretend it is a cheesecake...very empowering isn't it!

I'm very excited and I wanted to share it...
Hi Folks, I am continuing to love NoS...in a big way. It has been nearly 3 weeks now. I had the family hide the scale a few years ago and I only "weight in" at doctors offices. Went to the Dr. yesterday and I've lost between 12-15 lbs. on NoS! I am also feeling great! The other thing is that I picke...

...love it love it love it...and the Vodka sauce dish sounded most awesome too. I noticed something interesting. On N days I can be a bit more tired and I don't push it too too hard, but on S days (when i know I can eat a little more if I need to) I have gotten much more active. yesterday I walked f...

Great responses...
...for me, it is about the no snacking. It is so hard not to eat between meals and allowing it on S days made it hard to hit the N again...I didn't indulge much on the S's, but I enjoyed snacking...let's see how this week goes....

Thanks Deb & clarification...
Hi Deb, I just meant that I felt like I had just adjusted to the no snacking et al and than, I was allowed to again...for 2 days...so Monday felt like day one. No one said it would be easy, but it is good. I wondered if I should not do an S day for a while, but I do believe that causes rebound and o...

Anyone else find it hard to go from an S back to an N
Hi Folks,
i know that the "no deprivation/enjoy a sane S day" is a key long term strategy, but I kind of feel like my stride of N's was brkon by the S's and it has been harder to be an N.
How have you dealt w/ habit formation vs. the rules of the game??

Thanks for the warm welcome and great advice
Dear NSers, Thank you for the wam welcome and Reinhart, thank you for the advice (website et al). I didn't think of having milk before bed...probably because we have been so well trained that milk is an evil calorie-carrying beverage and we should be chewing our calories. I just have so many good th...

...Funny enough, tonight was easier...it is 10:35 and I am not "nighttime starving." I know this is the Honeymoon period, but i do have high hopes for this and it has been fun reading everyone's posts. I am not from L.I., but my parents and my sister's family live there now...Oceanside and Woodmere....

Hi folks, another newbie here
Hello Everyone, My name is Robin and I am a married, 40 y.o. mother of three. I have to tell you, the No S Diet really grabed my attention. It just makes soooooo much sense. This is my 3rd day on the plan. It is so wonderful to go out for a meal, to put a little margarine on that cauliflower, and to...
