I think part of my problem with the ulnar nerve in particular was that I had a habit of resting my forearms on the desk, and I also used to rest my elbow on the window sill of my car while driving. Bad, bad! My pinky finger went completely numb after a while of doing that. Now I've moved my keyboard...

Yeah, I wasn't too impressed with what I got out of the doctor. I basically came up with the solution myself.
