I had 13 green days in a row, then yesterday--BAM! A red day. My youngest son woke up with hives all over his body and a fever and the dr had no idea what was going on. He was suffering all day, I was worried, I didn't go in to work, etc, stress. So I ate some cookies and chocolate covered almonds....

Your food sounds delicious! When you can only have limited quantities, it's worth to make it good, otherwise one starts thinking: That was awful... I'm entitled to eat something really yummy... DANGER - DANGER

Two weekends have passed since my last entry, both of them pretty heavy on the social side... but two pounds more are gone. Slowly but surely! I never weigh myself the morning after an S-day... I think it leads to ungrounded discouragement, as the weight gain is due to water retention and, er, solid...

...Nevertheless, my weight tracker program tells me I have lost 4,5 pounds over the last month, and it's pretty reliable, as it smooths out day to day fluctuations. For crash-dieters that may be laughable but I know what it's worth. Bottom line: NoS works. I call it THE POWER OF N!
