Sorry to hear you are overwhelmed between work and family time. I hope that settles for you and you can find a slower pace again.

I saw the cutest little RV for sale (on the side of the road) yesterday. Thanks to your great idea, I was imagining myself zooming all around in it this summer.

Re: Robin's Check-In

Developing a new habit of a short walk after dinner sounds like it could be great for you! Also, when I was first trying to quit drinking wine, I would leave the kitchen - take a bath or a walk, get going on laundry, etc. Staying away from the kitchen/couch area was imperative. Good luck finding a s...

The dinner sounds so special and I am just thrilled that your girls were civil to each other during the meal! What a victory! I think it might show that they both love YOU so much that they were willing to be at peace for an evening because they knew how much the outing meant to you. Your descriptio...

Welcome home from both fun outings! I'm glad you and hubby were able to take time away together.

And it warmed my heart to see how you learned from your "younger" self entries and you are valuing "progress over perfection" and being gentler to yourself.

I think if it works for you and it feels good in your body, then your body is telling you what it needs and wants and by eating that way you are listening to your body and taking care of yourself.

Pinkie, sauerkraut is not for everybody, lol! Challenger hates it, Creator and Sexy tolerate it. I like the sour flavors and the crunch. It's probably a very-much acquired taste. Well, the adventure of shopping for the RV can be a lot of fun, too! Although if you are feeling time pressures, that makes it a little less fun, I suppose.

Lovely thoughts about not being identified by the foods that we eat. Thank you for sharing.
