I've been using a pretty un-junky Stevia based water enhancer. You can get them with added fiber too. My go to thing when hungry is one of my mods, usually a banana and herbal or mint tea. Occasionally an apple or orange if out of bananas, but apples typically trigger my stomach into thinking more food is on the way, so it's a last resort. You are correct, weekends the rules are relaxed. And walking is The best exercise in my opinion. If you want to add something to walking, then rucking with a light backpack, or try heavy hands version. And you can always add hills to your walks.
