Perhaps I don't understand the point of the article. But after reading it twice and following all the embedded links I'm left thinking, "Huh??" What is no-s plus urban ranger or shovel glove if not eating less and moving more? To my mind, the nice thing about No-s is that the rules are simple to lea...

It is possible you mention it here because: 1) you know we will not judge harshly or 2) you are hoping we will have time to intercede before you actually lay down. Unfortunately, we are too far away to really give you the on-site support you need for #2 so we'll have to go with #1. If you hav...

Donuts!!?? Man! I hope it was good  I'd look like this  if I tried to eat a donut. Did it have both filling and icing? Lets see, if I could eat anything I wanted as a once a year treat what would it be? I think it would be home made roast chicken (dark meat with skin) with mashed potatoe...

Hi Zippadee, I exercise as soon as I arrive home so I don't have time for a snack. I don't know if I look forward to it as much but I never, ever regret it. I was never able to replace my after work-snack with something else because, like you, I really wanted the snack. But, when I set an exercise g...

Why is fat Tuesday an s-day for you? That's a real question. I'm not religious and I'm wondering.

This is what I know:
1) fat Tuesday comes before ash Wednesday which is the beginning of lent.
2) people have a big old eat-fest before lent.
3) The part I'm missing . . . why?

Anyway, enjoy!!

My gut feel is this is not a good approach, and I am not sure why. My gut would would tell me the same thing because . . . when I think about food . . . I eat foo...

It is especially effective if you can even do a simple stretch with it. For example: stretch your arms above your head and take a slow breath in for a count of 5 the...
