Thanks, lpearlmom. This is probably my 4th return to No S. You're right - I can't think of any other viable alternatives for me. I'm two months in this time. May was a breeze for me. Rachel's Check-In
At the end of my first month (of my 2nd go-round), I've lost 6.2 pounds. I'm quite pleased. Lots of pleasure in the month, and very little pain (no pain, really, just discomfort for a few hours until my next meal). Three fails, all of them relatively minor, and no NWS days. I'm not sure how much I'l...

Met up with friends, though, after the fail, and didn't use the minor seconds fail as an excuse for an added sweets/snack f...

Apology
My intention was not to make you feel attacked, Dianamoon. I am sorry for that. Your post hit an emotional nerve for me, and I'm sorry for over-responding. I should have waited to craft a more dispassionate reply, or just not responded at all. Best wishes to you.

Thank you for sharing your story, eschano. In general, unless you are very close to someone, you should say nothing to them about things like: weight, food choices, drink choices, smoking, etc. If you are not someones: partner, parent, physician, counselor, or priest/spiritual adviser (and, perhaps,...

1 - Not on Nosdiet 2 - Who starts a diet on a Tuesday? This girl, apparently. :) I'm back to sensibility after a long absence filled with silly things like calorie counting and extreme carbohydrate restriction (and no weight loss to show for my troubles). 3 - Quite pleased with m...

Oh, my. The last few days have been rough. Tuesday was a catastrophic systems failure. Can one even have seconds, when there's no pause in eating? Yick. I'm nearly two months in, and as of this morning, I'm up 8 pounds. Not ideal. Looking at my habitcal, I can see that the main issue is not fails (d...

Fail. I did fine, until just before dinner. No sweets, but snacks and seconds. I think I trimmed my breakfast and lunch a little too much. Back to day one for me. This was my first fail, and...it's okay. I'm back on track. I failed. I'm not a failure. I was beating myself up a bit last night (and ea...

This Saturday marked a full month for me. I've stayed on plan, though it was a month with many more S days than would be normal (anniversary, birthday celebrations, and travelling). I haven't had a red day, yet, but my green days were full of big portions. Most of my S days were okay, but there were...

I'm not an old-timer (today marks four weeks for me), but I'll chime in anyway. :) Yes, for me, my meals were bigger than normal. I had a fear of being too hungry between meals, so my three plates were pretty full. I'm starting make them smaller, now that I'm out of the habit of snacking between mea...
