You're right,Tobias mom! The year's not over. I remember last year that I actually lost two pounds in December doing no S so if I get back on track now maybe I won't gain over the holidays. I think part of me is afraid to stick to no s because I'll feel like I'm missing out. Not snacking or having m...

You're right, oolala. I'm embarrassed at how many times you've had to give me a pep talk over the last few years. You're also correct that I'm tired of how overeating makes me feel. I like how you compare following the rules to taking my ' medicine'. Such an easy cure without negative side effects. ...

Well, I didn't complete my one year challenge. I would fail and wander off to greener grass. I would fail at that and try no S again. That cycle repeated all summer. I even tried a prescription weight loss pill called contrave. It contained an antidepressant and also the med you would give an alcoho...

If the restaurant has really great bread, or chips and salsa at a Mexican place, I enjoy them but I never eat all my food on my plate. I almost always leave with a doggy bag to have for lunch the next day. I never order appetizers or dessert just because I know it will make me feel uncomfortably full.

I have been a fan of Dr lusting for over a year now. I've watched most of his lectures online. I love his information but roll my eyes when he starts talking all his government regulation and taxation beliefs. He has recently played a roll in getting toys removed from happy meals in his area and he ...

Hi and welcome! I think the book says you can have up to two s days a month on top of weekends to use for special days. I'd say its up to you if you think milkshake day is worth using your s day. Personally, milkshakes are my favorite thing so I'd be all over that! Haha. You can also take an S event...

I know it hurts when your family says something like that, even if it wasn't intentionally hurtful. Some people have chins that aren't well defined even though they aren't overweight. I've seen it run in families. Your BMI is so so healthy! If your chin is bothering you, try using contouring makeup ...

I agree with you guys. If you eat the way people did a few generations ago. 1500 calories would be enough because you'd be getting those calories from veggies, fruits, meats, etc. not candy bars or fast food. Unfortunately, I grew up eating processed foods and I still eat too much of it. When I was c...

I've noticed my desire for sweets has decreased quite a bit. Soda is really the sweet that I desire. It's even gotten to where when I do buy a candy bar , if I'm not truly enjoying it I will eat half and throw the rest away. I think my tastes have changed.... I only want to use my dessert for someth...

Welcome lady brachiosaur! Love the name. I think you answered the question for me. I am terrified of giving sweets, especially soda. Plus the mentality of " well I'm on a diet so I have to eat only kale and quinoa. " But like Merrie said, I don't want to head down a path of bad health simply because...
