Another successful day (a smiley face on my calendar!!)

Brushed and flossed my teeth so I'm good to go. Got my ice water by my side.

I don't feel hungry, don't feel stuffed. Just feel fine.

Hope your evening went as well, Hilary :)

Annie, I found that I had better luck with reducing my portion sizes by getting a set of 9" dinner plates instead of the regular 13" ones. Even with normal portions, it looks like a TON of food. I also like to make sure I get enough veggies and I also like to slice up an apple or have a bunch of gra...

I resolute to NOT weigh myself for the entire month of January. I may weigh in Feb. 1. This is to hopefully help me stop obsessing about my weight (numbers) and feeling defeated if it doesn't drop.

Day 19. Going well. Yesterday was an N day and successful. My insatiable appetite seems to have waned a bit. I think it might have to do with the decaf coffee in the evening which has really helped to settle my stomach. I am down to just 1 T of creamer, trying to learn to like more of the coffee tas...

My Hear Melted Tonight (What DH said to me!)

I half heartedly, almost jokingly asked if he saw any changes in me for the last 19 days I've been successfully nosing. He paused and said: "Well, you're a lot *happier*" I melted. This means SO much to me. Because nearly every day pre-nos, I was sad or angry or depressed because of my weight...

Ok, I may have screwed up all my N days but I'll fire off my questions to you guys. Am I supposed to be SG'ing every N day? I haven't been, been concentrating on the eating aspect mostly. Coffee? Do you drink it throughout hte day? I drink decaf (love the taste) with a bit of creamer in it. I find i...

Today though, I feel better about it. Yesterday I didn't even need a 4th meal bu tthat may be due to the bad chinese I ate (but didn't keep down- wugh!).

Thanks for everyone's support, Have a great New Year!

Today I didn't need to snack. And last night a cup of nice hot coffee(decaf, I like the taste) really settled my stomach *this is ok, right?

Things I've learned in 13 days:

I've learned that my grocery bill is less than it was pre noS.

I've learned that I won't starve between meals (although it certainly is feeling like it currently!!)

I feel better.

I've lost 5lbs.

I *want* to be healthy. I *want* to be at a healthy weight.

This has happened to me- although not in the 6 days I've been nosing.

Usually I would go get a glass of milk and then I'd be good until morning.

I don't think that's considered a failure to have a glass of milk (well I drink soy milk)?
