Thanks cricket! I'm pretty chuffed that I managed to stick to the three 'no S-es' this week :) I'm sure you'll have a good'un next week - it is simple and reasonable but not always easy! Good luck :)

Thanks guys, loads of good ideas!

I think I can try and get in the habit of organising and packing a breakfast food the night before. I also found some recipes for savoury muffins that might work well for breakfast!

I think I should add that any significant cooking in the mornings is out as I work generally pretty early and there's no way I'll be up in time! Also I tend to eat breakfast IN work (which can be one of 3 offices, no set routine) rather than at home. I like my sleep....

No S breakfast

Hi all, I've started the NoS diet this week, and so far so good! One thing I'm struggling with is eating a regular, healthy and decent sized breakfast. Usually I don't eat breakfast at all, or in the past I've gone for 'snack bar' type breakfasts (I made some Nigella breakfast bars but seeing as the...

Day 4: success Breakfast: apple juice and some bbq flavoured chicken pieces (sounds an odd breakfast but the chicken went down pretty well at 8.30am!) Lunch: prawn salad and bagel (could have done with maybe half a bagel, I didn't finish the whole one) Dinner: large bowl of potato, chorizo, onion an...

Hmm you're probably right Noel, I have some bowls that are between the small 'breakfast' size and pasta bowls so I'll switch to using those next week - if I see food piling up over the rim I'll know I've overdone it!!

Hi CJ :) Overeating is my current problem too! I've only been at this for a few days and I think i'm worried that if I don't eat massive meals I'll be starving and tempted to snack.... All my recent meals have been of the pasta/stew variety, which means i've been eating them from pasta bowls - it's ...

I must fall between old and new, I weigh things in grams/kilograms but measure height in feet and inches not centimetres!

Either that or I'm just confused, it's a possibility :)

Ok so Day 3 was a SUCCESS :) Dinner went as planned - although after a full plate of pasta on Tuesday, when I added some tomato and basil pasta sauce to it yesterday I felt absolutely stuffed about 5 minutes later - almost uncomfortably so. I think I'm still learning portion size in terms of what is...

Hello, thought i'd introduce myself as I'm new to this NoS thing :) I'm Millie, I'm 29 and from the UK. I've never really dieted before (as I hate the thought of restricting what I eat) and I don't have an 'ideal' body type or weight. I generally think I have a pretty good body image :) BUT I am ove...

Day 2: Success Breakfast: pot of mixed fruit and low fat yoghurt Lunch: bacon and cheese panini and an apple Dinner: tortellini I also had a glass of ginger beer at a friend's house in the evening, but resisted many cookies and muffins in work! Still found the no-snacking quite difficult, particular...

Millie daily check in

Hi all! So I've decided to give this No-S diet a try! I HATE dieting because i hate cutting things out, so this seems like a sensible plan for me. Today so far I've done pretty well, a bagel with peanut butter for breakfast, and a bagel/yoghurt/apple for lunch. I tend to eat a bunch of small things ...
